Inspired by the success of the AccessAbilities Expo in Dubai:

The AccessAbilities Expo Arabia & Africa is the first exhibition of its kind in the Arab and African countries, organized with the aim of empowering more than 250 million people living in this vast geography that includes about 2 billion people.

According to the WHO, the number of people with disabilities worldwide currently stands at 1.3 billion, or about 16% of the total of any society. This number is expected to rise to 2 billion people in 2050, or 1 in 6 people with a specific disability or special need.

This exhibition constitutes a global platform to showcase the latest innovations and assistive technologies, provide solutions, services and best practices in the fields of rehabilitation, integration, infrastructure development and the quality of services provided by government agencies and private companies, with the aim of contributing to improving the quality of life of people with disabilities.

On the sidelines of the exhibition, many conferences, seminars and workshops are held that will contribute to launching the largest awareness campaign in the history of Arab and African countries with the aim of improving the lives of people with disabilities and enabling them to rely on themselves better.

The exhibition provides a global platform for communication and creating opportunities for cooperation between government agencies and bodies, international companies, specialized centers, professionals working in this sector and the community of people with disabilities, in addition to exchanging experiences and ideas and promoting inclusiveness, which works to encourage society to adopt comprehensive practices that support the rights of people with disabilities.
